Born Theodora Laird, she made her debut at the age of twenty-two with an EP titled Feels Like We’re Getting Older, Doesn’t It?, whose opening track was called Memento Mori. Five years and one LP, Goodness, later, feeo stands among the leading artists of the new British scene brought to light by AD 93, a key label for the hyperreal narratives emerging from contemporary London’s political and sociocultural landscape, where drone, ambient, experimental electronics, improvisation and minimalist dance music coexist under the same roof. All of it amplified by one of the most hypnotic voices to surface in recent years.
