An album born and developed live: Stefano Pilia’s guitar in dialogue with Marta Salogni’s tape recorders used as full-fledged instruments – an intricate interplay of improvisation and manipulation, creation and re-elaboration. A meeting of hands touching strings and operating machinery to generate loops, feedback, and delay in a continuous exchange between human touch and processed sound. This also forms part of the stylistic signature of ROBOT 17: the breakdown of reality as we know it, immersed in a never-ending flow of information.
