Space Afrika

Space Afrika’s work unfolds across several fronts at once, shaped by a constant process of hybridisation between ambient, spoken word, unmistakably British electronic music in varying shades of darkness, and both still and moving images. Their records give voice to those asking for nothing more than the chance to live with dignity; their practice extends to exhibitions in London, Berlin and Milan, and collaborations with kindred spirits across music, such as Rainy Miller, visual art, such as Valentin Noujaïm, and cinema, such as Jonathan Vinel and Caroline Poggi. Their first full-length release in five years, following Honest Labour, carries an equally emblematic title: Quiet Storm.
