Originally commissioned by Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum and later expanded into a fully fledged album of its own, Seismo is the product of a collaboration that sounds like two minds challenging one another without conflict, each studying the other’s point of view as they forge a third path. Digital and acoustic percussion merge with a dizzying flux of vocal fragments, field recordings and synth gusts, shaping sound architectures in constant transformation. An exploratory drive towards the unknown, chance, movement and difference, with a deeply sensory force.
